TEPID BATHS AND RESERVES

Sir, — I too would welcome Tepid Baths for all the year usage. These would prove a good diversion for both the winter visitors and local residents. Perhaps the Town Board could favour us with a statement regarding the possibility, as many residents would be only too willing to patronise such baths. It is certainly time rnore Taupoans did something to enhance those attractions. Mr Vedder is to be eongratulated on his practical gesture, and I also shall be willing to make a donation to such a worthy cause. However, it will need many more public- spirited people to do any good, and surely, after Mr Vedder 's lead, they will be forthcoming. — I am, etc.,
