RESERVES & FIRE HAZARDS
Sir, — You have accorded space to several letters on this subject — all in favour of the removal of ugly dangerous scrub from reserves in Taupo. Are you, Sir, able to state whether the Town Board has any programme mapped out to deal with these eyesores and hazards, or are these scrubridden areas to remain in our midst ad infinitum ? It would be a grand example to the citizens and also to the absentee owners to clean up these Taupo reserves, thus giving some incentive to people to take pride in their own frontages. — I am, etc.,
