New Electric Clock.
A Norfolk firm has itnroduced a new electric model #.combining both alarm clock and electric lig:ht. The light is fixed to the top of the clock, thus enabling the time to be seen when subdued lighting is particularly needed, as for example, during a television show or in the sick room. New Type of Aluminium Tents. — A Scottish firm is now making a new type of aluminium tent, which sleeps eight men and can be erected in a hour. Orders for early delivery have already been received from Pakistan and a substantial market is also visualised in other tropical countries where the corrosion-resis-tan qualities of the metal make the tent particularly suitable.
