Mr and Mrs R. H. Le Pine of Napier, are in residence at their Taupo home, and will be returning to Napier on March 7. . * * * * Mr and Mrs Flego, and family, recent. arrivals from Italy, will be residing in Scannell Street. * * * Mr Jack. Rramley, who recently returned from active service in Korea to train further reinforcements for KForce, spent the week-end as a guest of Mr and Mrs K. Raineka in Kaimanawa Road. * * ❖ Mr Douglas Price, son of Mr and Mr s R. B. Price, who has been in Tau^ po for the past six months, has now returned to Wellington where he is completing a course at Victoria University. * * * Mrs C. J. McKinnon is at present holidaying in Wellington and Lower Hutt. Hc sfc ❖ Guests staying at Mt. View Flats include: Mr and Mrs Roy Britten, Otane; Mr and Mrs J. Roberts, Auckland; Mr and Mrs D. J. Monk and daughter, New Plymouth. ❖ * * FIRE BRIGADE DANCE \ The dance in Rickits Hall on Saturday evening last to raise funds for the Fire Brigade was a great success, a large attendance being present. The art union drawing resulted as follows: — First prize, Ray Reid (17415), £60; second, Bill Mitchell (12491), £20; third, G. S. Anchor (4892), £10. At a rough estimate the net result is a sum of £150 for the brigade fund. * * * * Disclaimer. — Mr W. H. Kent, Taupo, is in no way eonnected with Mr G.
