BOWLS
An enjoyable day was spent at Ngongotaha by the Taupo bowlers last Sunday week. Two teams left here to compete in the Public Services Tournament, held every year, and performed very creditably. A great day was enjoyed by the bowlers, morning and afternoon tea was provided and at the conclusion of the tournament the Taupo Club President, Mr J. D. Swan, thanked their hosts.
