OBITUARY
Mrs Eremi Wi Katene wife of Kiko Wi Katene, an old identity of Te Rangiita, died at Palmerston North recently and was buried at Shannon. A tangi, commencing on January 18 was.held at Waitetoko Pa over the week-end. Mrs Wi Katene had been president of the Maori Women 's Health League since its inauguration in 1943 and she was a member of the Te Rangiita tribal committee. She is not survived by any family.
