A CONFERENCE HELD.
Wellington, November 13 A conference of leaders of the Prohibition party has been sitting in Wellington for several days in connection with the proposed amend" ments to the Licensing Act making drastic changes in the provisions affecting local option voting; The proceedings have been of a confidential nature. It has now been ascertained by the New Zealand Times representative that the Con" ference decided to hold a Dominion Convention of leading representatives of the Alliance and Prohibition authorities, to commence in Wellington next Wednesday.
