Waihou Live Stock Sale

Notwithstanding the wet weather there was a good attendance of buyers at yesterday’s Waihou live stock sale, conducted by the Farmer’s Auctioneering Coy , Ltd. Prices and entries were hardly up to last sale day. Last sale proved one of the biggest held in the district. Fat cattle sold well, fat heifers bringing from £6 ; sheep and lambs, in wool, were withdrawn at £l, 19s being offered, Pigs were down, fetching from 10s to Lss ; big number entered.
