A game was played at Paeroa on Tuesday to decide who will represent Paeroa in the stars competition at Karangahake on the 20th inst. Yesterday’s game resulted as follows Coofce, Olsen, Ellis, McWatters (skip) 29 v. Allan, Wilson, Dr. Smith, Bromwich (skip), 19.

“The Rotorua Club are on the second round of the Fours Competition. The Te Aroha Club will get to work in real earnest after Saturday next —the opening day.

It is the opinion of the bowlers that the Te Aroha Green is playing better than ever this season. Evidently it has not been neglected during the interim.
