The Simpson Manslaughter
v New York, November 11. Hmronsr Evbbston, who was arrested on a charge of manslaughter after the death of the man Simpson, whom he threw into a cataleptic trance / and was unable to again arouse, frantically assured the doctors who made the post mortem on Simpson, that the latter is still in a cataleptic trance. He was permitted to go to the mortuary with a number of hyp. notists, who continued their experiments for several hoars. Finally a doctor ordered the hypnotists away. The post mortem showed that death was due to a rupture of the aorta, due to Everston jumping on Simpson’s chest
