The British Fleet.
New York, October 7. A remarkable reception was accorded the British Fleet at the Hudson Fulton celebrations. RearAdmiral Seaton Shrooder, who was in command of the fourth division of the American Fleet, on a round'* the-world voyage, said that while the armaments of the world were dictated by the same motives, those ruling Britain and America, lasting peace would be assured.
