WEDDING.
JOHNSON—HICTON
A QUIET, but .pretty wedding was solemnised by the Rev. P. Oleary at St. Mark’s Church. Te Aroha, on Wednesday, October 6th., when Miss Clarissa Hicton and Mr Alfred C. Johnson were united in the bonds of Holy Matrimony. The bride, who was given away by Mr Mclndoe, was dressed in a stylish dove coloured voile dress with cream lace and silk trimmings, and wore a pretty white hat with sprays of pink briar roses. Miss Woods, of Te Aroha, and Miss Winnie Sweeney, of Waihou, attended as bridesmaids. The former wore a dress of fine white lustre, and cream hat trimmed with green ribbons and helitrope flowers, the latter, a white silk dress and white duchess bonnet, both had beautiful bouquets of white flowers and maiden hair ferns. The bridegroom was supported by Mr Tom Donovan. The happy couple left by •train for their future home at Hamilton.
