Manawaru Notes.

(Own Correspondent)

The Methodist Sunday School were compelled to postpone their anniversary on Tuesday night last, owing to the inclemency of the weather, which has been unsettled for some time past. It has been decided to hold the anniversary on Tuesday night next, October sth, commencing at 8 o’clock, and should the weather prove favourable, the Hall will doubtless be well filled. I trust our Ministers and friends from Te Aroha will endeavour to be with us, and join in having a real good time with the juveniles—don’t forget, next Tuesday night. There is a marked increase in the quantity of milk received at the factories, and a look of contentment is noticeable upon the faces of the dairymen.
