Sir, —If a Constable has power to walk into my shop and demand, in the style of the Lord High Executioner, that I remove an empty case left on the roadway, surely to goodness he has the power to S9e that another man’s shop is not almost completely hidden by coaches, buggies, traps, etc., etc., stretching half-way across the main street. Perhaps a Sergeant or Police Commission will have to visit this district before the nuisances complained of are removed. The traps, etc., are a source of danger.—l am, etc., Chamber of Commerce.
