Search for the Waratah.

NO APPEARANCE.

London, August 12. The search for the Waratah will be continued by the Luud Lines Geelong, H.M.S. Hermes, and H.M.S. Forte. The last-named, returned to Siumnstown yesterday, after covering 1320 miles in a fruitless search; the Pandora renews her search on Monday. The reinsurance on the Waratah is now 80 guineas per cent., the highest rate ever paid on a vessel of that size. The underwriters suggest that the Waratah may have broken her propellers or rudder*, instancing the Waikato, which was miss-' ing near the South Cape for a long time.
