Yet Another Drink Victim
Wanganui, August 0. A M>N named Frederick Mooreh, who was arrested yesterday when in a state of helpless intoxication, and who was re manded for a week for medical treatment, strangled himself in his cell last night. Deceased had been drinking heavily lately, and early yesterday morning broke into a hotel, and was airested, evidently in a state of mental derangement. East night he tore his shirt in strips as he lay in a padded cell and strangled himself. He was about 40 years of age. He leaves a wife and three children. [Cure : National prohibition wanted.-" Ed.]
