Waihou Scbool Committee.

The usual monthly meeting of the Waihou School Committee was held in the school. Present, Mr T. Borrie (Chairman), Messrs O’JDonoghue, D. Borrie, and the Secretary. Correspondence, quarterly attendance report, inspector’s report, also letter re Rifle Range were received from Board of Education and dealt with. Certificate for June was also to hand, and the usual monthly report from the headmaster. | |The Secretary was instructed to attend to the small matters needed. Re Rifle Range.—Decided on the motion of Mr D. Borrie that it be finished as soon as possible, and the official opening take place as soon as completed. Accounts amounting to £1 were passed for payment. This being all the business, the meeting closed with usual thanks.
