A DELEGATE INTERVIEWED.
London, June 29. The Chronicle interviewed Mr Word, editor of the Sydney Daily Telegraph. He said his deepest impression of the result of the conference in England’s vitality. Protectionists in New South Wales were always saying that England was decadent. The size and importance of England’s manufacturing industries simply amazed us. We cannot understand. Englishman’s pessimism about England.
