Water Finding.

ARTESIAN FLOW DISCOVERED AT WAIHOU,

The Rev. Mason, of water-finding fame, Usited Mr Dan. Casey’s farm, at Wailiou, last week and indicated a spot where water was likely to be found. Messrs Stevens Bros, carried out the boring operations. At 240 feet a small flow of water was met with. After this a solid bed of rock was passed through and a splendid artesian flow of water was struck 27(3 feet. It is estimated that the flow is at least 14,000 gallons a day. This water, which is the clearest that has b :en struck in the Piako County, has been located in a most convenient spot for distributions on the farm. The total cost of boring was dC3S Is 3d.
