London, June 17. The Australians commenced the thirteenth match of the tour to-da)%* when they met the West of Scotland ,at Glasgow. The attendance 2,000. The weather was bright wicket easy. The home team w< qfSSis toss and decided to bat first. outstanding feature bf the play wras fine innings by Tennant,-; a S(cottfch , International , Rugby player,) wlw punished the bowling severely, scoring--8o runs in 70 minutes. The side was dismissed for 244 runs, and the Australians lost two wickets for 102 before * the stumps were drawn for the day, Hartigan was top scorer with 61, not out.
