Fancy Hockey Match
LADIES v. GENTLKMEN. ]v vou are desirous of enjoying an hour's genuine fun, put in an appearance at the B idge Domain (near the Te Aroha Post Office) on Wednesday (to-morrow) afternoon, and witi ess the above match The fun will be fast and furious. The gentlemeu will be slightly handicapped, inasmuch as they will be adorned with skirts —fie longer the better—and will have to use a straight stick instead of the finished article. The ladies’ team will be selected from the following players : —Misses Hare, Ryan, Gavin (‘2), Spooner, Dearie (2), Edwards, Hamilton, Rowe, Bell, Booth, Paterson and Mrs Annan.
The following players will represent the gentlemen Messrs Souiers, Clarke, J Allen, H. McSweeney, Payzie, J. Rowe, T. Donovan, W. Maiugay, A. Calder, Scctt, Kirby, C. Jeoniugs, Ed wards, Corbett, A. W. Edwards, E. W. Wild, Fred. Harris, Gavin.
