FOOTBALL.
A good deal of interest is being evinced in the senior fixture, Te Aroha v. Waihou, on the laiter’s ground this afternoon, and doubtless the attendance will be large and the ' progress of the game keenly watched. We trust the game will be fought out in a friendly spirit, and no unBritish ill-feeling displayed by the individual players. It is not only dangerous, but decidedly unsportsmanlike. I The Waihou andTe Aroha seconds meet on the Recreation Ground, and an- interesting match should result. Judging by the names we see as emergencies, the teams must indeed be strong. The following table gives the position of the four teams in the junior grade.
