Anti-Trust Laws.
SOME HEAVY FINES PAID. New York, Juno 1. Recent prosecutions for violating Anti-Trust Laws resulted in the payment into Court of fines totalling a million sterling, for unlawful mining upon public land, and giving and accepting rebates. Five employees of the American Sugar Refining Company have been arrested in connection with Customs frauds but their share is only £3 weekly.
