Sudden Death at Te Aroha
An awfully sudden death took place at Te Aroha yesterday, From particulars to haqd w e leilrn <hat Mis J, Hodges, of luglexvood, in company with her sister, arrived at Te Aroha by the 1.20 train, being met at, ths station by her daughter, Mrs T. A. Kennedy, of Whitaker-street. After the house (situated opposite "Williams’ gardens) had been Teaqbocl, Mrs Kent pay walked to the telegraph office and telegraphed fo Inglewood to, the effect that her mother had arrived safely. Ou returning home she was horrified to find, on going out to the back door, her mother lying prostrate in the yard, lifeless, a few yards from the door. The de» peased was ijO years of age, and leaves a grown-up family of two sons and three daughters. With Ifie exception of a slight pain in flip chest, which she first complained of last Thursday, deceased j had enjoyed good health. An inquest will be bifid to-day,
