IMPORTS AND EXPORTS. SOME INTERESTING FIGURES. Wellington, May 13. Tiie imports into New Zealand during the quartor ended March 31st last totaled £4,226,737, as compired with £4,894,395 for the corresponding quarter of 1908. Exports for the same quarter of 1907 were £7,031,132, and for 1908 £6,331,927. The figures showing the Dominion’s financial transactions during the year ended March 31st last, with the figures of the previous year for comparison, appear in to • night’s Gazette. The following is a summary, shillings and pence omitted :
