Canada and the Commonwealth.
Melbourne, May 12. T)IE Federal Postmaster - General received a cable from Canada asking if the Commonwealth is willing to renew the existing Vancouver mail contract for another year. Mr Thomas desires to obtain some improvement if renewed for a year only. The whole matter involved a greater “ All Red” scheme, and although the contract would probab'y be renewed for the ensuing year, arrangemonts beyond that would likely form a part of a comprehensive “ All Red ’ scheme.
