Waitoa Drainage Board.
The monthly meeting of the above took place in the Secretary’s (Mr E. A. Campbell) office yesterday afternoon. . Present: Messrs M. Henry (Chairman), T. Bellamy, Magill, and Mathieson. Minutes read and confirmed; inward and outward correspondence dealt with. Me Corrigan wrote for and was granted , leave of absence. —Date of Meeting— Mr Bellamy moved and Mr Magill seconded that the former resolution that the meetings he held on the second Wednesday’s be rescinded.—Carried. —It was resolved on the motion of Mr Mathieson that the meetings be held on the second Monday in the month, at 2 o’clock.— Seconded by Mr Henry and carried. —-Office Furniture The action of the Chairman in purchasing office furniture was confirmed. — The Sceretarv was authorised to pro • cure a letter book and the necessary office stationery required.
