School Committee.

The ordinary monthly meeting of the above took place in the school-house on Monday evening last. Present: -Mr D. McL. Wallace (Chairman), Revs. W. C. Blair, and P. Cleary, and Messrs D. Waghoru, Ashby, J. B. Johnson, J. Maingay, J. Rowo, and G. Sherlock (Secretary). Messrs AVaghorn and Rowe were appointed a Works Committee. It was res lve 1 that fu' me meetiugs be bold at 7.30 iusceail of 8 o’clock. W A good deal of discussion took place T relative to a certain matter dealt with by tbe old Committee, and again brought forward through receipt of a letter. It was resolved that the headmaster’s action be upheld, and that the Secretary reply to the parent, suggesting that should he be dissatisfied, to write to the Board of Education. Several other minor matters were dealt with and the meeting dispersed.
