At a meeting of tho To Arolia Lawn Tennis Club last evening it was dec»ded to wind up the sea?on with a social among the members and their friends in tbe Tea Kiosk next Wednesday week, 19th inst. The social will take the form of a progressive euchre party, supper and dance.
The Postmaster (Mr J. G. Beswick) advises that on and after Monday next, 17th of May, thq receiving boxes in WhitaH e r-§trpet will he cleared at 8.25 a : m., 10 gQa-nb and 2 40 p,in. The first clearance will thus be 15 minutes earlier than hitherto, the other clearances are not alt-Ted.
