No meeting therefore resulted, and the Board will appoint a Commissioner to look after its interests and the interests of the children. . —Waihou. — The following were appointed a Committee :—Messrs J. and D. Borrie, H. O. Cooper, H. Magill, W. Morrow, J. Farmer and M. O’Donoghue. —Matamata. — At a meeting of householders, at which about 30 persons were present, Messrs Bowler, Price, McMiken, Piggott, Jougbin, Good * and Banks were elected* At a subsequent meeting of the Committee Mr Banks was chosen as chairman.
