Rough Weather at Wellington
“RAKAIA” DAMAGED. Wellington, April 23. While the steamer was berthing duiing the ,g»le to-day she collided with the ocean steamer Rakaia, and damaged oue plate if the bigger vessel. t . , Temporary repairs will be effected bore. The accident will delay the steamer two daysNew plates will te put in when the vessel reaches London. , The weather continues very bad -with severe gales and heavy rain. The Hutt river is 12 ft., which is now at its highest point tor the last eight years.
