The Cry for Bread.
CITY IN DANGER
Teheran, April 20. .Thousands of women and children in Tabriz are clamouring for bread. The British residents telegraphed to Edward Grey, Minister of Foreign Affairs, that the city is in imminent danger of attack, owing to desperation of the situation. “They continue, ”it is impossible for us to leave, and the consular guard is inadequate to protect us.
