Piako County Tenders.

At the Piako County meeting on Thursday the following tenders for drainage works at Waitoa, etc., were dealt with :

No. 56. —Cleaning out road side drains from Wiseman’s iroad to Farrow’s mill, WaitoaStanley Bros, (accepted), 3s lOd per chain'; A. J. Forrest. 3s lid ; Wright and Smith, 3s lid.

No. 57.- Cleaning out drains on Wiseman’s road: A. J. Forrest accepted), 5s 6d per chain ; Wright and Smith, 6s 6d ; Stanley Bros., 9s sd.

No. 58. —Cleaning out drains on Wiseman’s road : A.. J. Forrest (accepted), 454 d per chain; Cribb, 4s sd; Wright »and Smith, 6s; Stanley Bros., 4s lidNo. 59. —Cleaning out drains, No. 3 and No. 7 outlets, from No. 7 road to No. 1 road: D. Torphy (accepted), 2s 4d per. chain; Stanley Bros., 3s 5d ; A. J. Forrest, 5s ; Wright and Smith, ss. No. 61. —Cleaning up drains on No 7 road from No. 3 outlet to No. 2 road, and from Irwin’s gate to Walker’s pine trees: H. Bellamy (accepted), 2s 2d per chain ; Torphy, 2s 8d ; Stanley Bros., 3s 4d ; A. J. Forrest, 4s; Wright and Smith, 4s 6d.

No. 62—Cleaning up drains on No. 7 road from No. 3 outlet to No. 2iroad, and from Irwin’s gate to Walker’s pine trees : Stanley Bros, (accepted), 3s 5d per chain ; Wright and Smith, 5s 6d.
