At the Piako County meeting on Thursday the following tenders for drainage works at Waitoa, etc., were dealt with :

No. 56. —Cleaning out road side drains from Wiseman’s iroad to Farrow’s mill, WaitoaStanley Bros, (accepted), 3s lOd per chain'; A. J. Forrest. 3s lid ; Wright and Smith, 3s lid.
