MORRINSVILLE
(Own Co respondent) The cricket match played here on Saturday between the local eleven and a team representing the Kaikaha Club in Hamilton, resulted in any easy win for the visitors. Pomeroy made a century (not out). During the progress of the match Mr S. S. Allen, a local player, had the misfortune to split his band badly in catching a ball. The injured mem her was at once -attended to by Dr Seville.
A good deal of rain has fallen during the past few days, and the country is bearing a fine fresh appearance. A good growth is noticeable in all newly sown grass lands.
