A SPLENDID RECEPTION,

Berlin, February 11. King Edward is in high spirits, and evidently pleased at the reception and elaborate preparations for hiß reception. At Ratbans there was tremendous enthusiasm'amongst Berliners, who were delighted because King Edward was the first British monarch to visit Berlin since 1723, and no head of a foreign state has heretofore been the municipalty’s guest. King Edward and Queen Alexandra received at the Embassy the British residents in BerlinThe grand State ball at the Royal Castle was a great success.
