Sir. —It is not often that I condescend to answer an annonymous correspondent, but this being a public matter will deviate from my rule. The first practices were fairly well-attended, but the attendance grew go Small and there ✓ ■ Was such a palpable waning of the essential enthusiasm that J <B4 not care to cpntinue. Could 1 ask him as a favour to write again (not under a nom de plippe) and tell me what he thinks about the matter, I really don’t think he was one of the bad boyg who greased the rails, And rest assured that if I can do anything to further the interests of Te Aroha (especially in this Band business) that I will be only too happy to do so.
