MINING
Mixing matters at Waiorongonmi me still on the forward move. More men are gradually being put on in the diffei ent mines, which tends to show that things are still on the up-grade. The big tunnel which Messrs McLean and Sons have in hand for the Waioiongomai Mines, Ltd., is nearing completion, and we hope to hear very shortly of something good being struck when the SoOt’t. is driven. The tramway trucks started running again yesterday morning, timber, etc., for the minor’s huts being taken up. The Council still have a man on repairing the horse track, and when finished will be a great improvement.
