Oddfellows’ Ball.

THE ' ibove event, which takes place on Wednesday next, promises to be a big success. I his year the committee are taking unusual pains to insure the desired end. Many novelties are expected in decorations, etc. The music will be unsurpassible. The prizes offered for the ladies arc good : Mi- Gahagan’s special prize for the belle of the Ball; Mr Williams’ special prize for neatest dressed lady, and a 40-piece tea set for best fancy dress. The gents have to be satisfied with a handsome bronze ornament. Nee the advertisement, special invitations not issued.
