Shooting Match.
TE ABOHA Y. WAIKINO EIFLE CLUB. The above match was fired off at the local range on Saturday afternoon. Ideal shooting weather prevailed, 'ihe teams were in charge of Messrs A. Sutton (Waikino) and J. C. Beswiok (l'e Aroha). Mr E. Pilkingto \ and Mr Beswick looked after the recoid books. Excellent afternoon tea was dispensed by Mesdames Somers, Beswiek, and Willis. Owing to darkness setting in it was impossible for the last three men to shoot, and up to that point the scores were equal, it was decided to call the match a draw. Appended are the individual scores: -
At the close of the match the President (Mr Wild) called for three cheers for Waikino, which were heartily reciprocated.
