WEEKLY REPORT.

Business in the grain and produce lines continues to be carried through on a small scale, buyers still being of the oponion that values will be lower. Flour —Prices remain at about the same level as when we last reported, and there is likely to be little movement in the near future.

Bran and Pollard —There has been no alteration in quotations, although the tendency is for the market to rule lower in v oth lines. Potatoes —The Auckland market has been bare of stocks this week, and prices have advanced for spot lots. Shipments are awaited from the °outh, where there still appears to be fair quantities available If supplies from there continue as at present there will be little likelihood of prices advancing during the rest of the s ason.

Seed Potatoes -There is a good enquiry for these for planting in the Auckland province, and if the weather conditions should be favourable thoughout, we may expect to dig a big quantity of potatoes during the coming season. Oats—The market is weak, and prices show no improvement. On the contrary, the indications are for a further reduction in the near future. Chaff—ls off* ring freely, and stocks being abundunt for i resent requirements, it is doublful if values ruling just now will be maintained for The future offers no encouragement to holders to hang on to stocks. Onions -The high range of prices continues, And the probability is that such will be the case for the nst of the season.
