THAT BELL.
To the Editor.
I Pir, —I had always understood that the hours for morning and evening service in the Church of England were the same as those of other churches, namely 11 a.m and 7 p.m, respectively. Lately, however, the bell has ceased ringing (and I take it service has commenced) at any time between seven minutes to and ten minutes past the hour. I presume the people of St. Mark’s do not object to others taking time from the ringing of their bell, and respectfully beg that in future the bell-ringer will provide himself with a more reliable time-piece.—l am, etc., Te Aroha, September^.
Church-goer.
