AUCKLAND DEFEATS WELLINGTON.
Auckland, September 6. Between 3000 and 4000 people witnessed the challenge match for the New Zealand Hockey Association’s chamdionship shield at Victoria Park yesterday between Wellington and Auckland- The wea'her was gloriously fine, and the ground played like a billiard table. The game resulted in a win for the holders ( Auckland ) by two goals to nil.
