Steamer Catches Fire.
Colombo, September 3. A fire occurred in No. 3 hold of the steamer “ Roon r ” from Sydney, while lying at Colombo. The outbreak was quickly extinguished without much damage being sustained by the vessel. Sheepskins, copra, and plumbago among cargo were, however, considerably damaged.
