Mining at Waiorongomai.

VERY ENCOURAGING PROSPEOTS. ' - 1

We are pleased to be able to announce the flotation of the Waiorongomai Mines Limited, at Waiorongomai. Messrs Hardy and Dawson have been prospecting the property for two and a-half years and have exposed several good lodes which have stood the test of extensive assays made on behalf of four different parties. The Ferguson Smelting Company, Limited, which owns the Smelting Works at Wniomo, near the Thames', now nearing completion, have subscribed for a very large number of shares and think highly of the property on account of its bullion and flux bearing qualities. Our good friend Mr Hardy, has once more come to the rescue of this district and will be distributing a fair amount of money amongst us. We beg to extend to him our sincerest sympathy and a hearty welcome.
