Our Baths and Drinking Waters.

SOME VISITORS’ OPINIONS.

The other day our reporter, during a visit of inspection to the baths, grounds, and drinking springs, took a casual glance at the Visitors’ Book, placed in a conspicuous place just inside the entrance to the Oadman private bathhouse. The visitors book contains hundreds of excellent testimonials as to the curative properties of Te Aroha hot baths and mineral drinking waters. Amongst others we noticed the following:— “ Afu guid.” “ Gained a new lease of life; a real treat.”

“Very good for invalids; greatly benefitted.”

“The drinking waters alone are keeping me alive.*' “ A perfect holiday resort.” “ Am well pleased with results.”

“ To be recommended ; better than Rotorua.”

Charming health resort.” “ Slow but sure; received great benefit.”

One of the most beautiful spots in New Zealand.”

“ Reveals God’s goodness.” “ Lovely spot.” “Better than all the waters of Jordan.”

“ Better than Rotorua, but starved by Government parsimony.” t “ Baths very beneficial; health fully restored. Attendants most courteous and obliging.” “ Here the weary traveller seeks the soft vicissitudes of pleasure and repose.” “Very much improved.” “ Derived much pleasure and benefit from my stay.” 4 “ One of nature’s wonders.”
