BRISBANE, June 27. Tiie game was very fast. The home team showed excellent defence, and the visitors fine combination and good forward work. The home team were the first to score, but at the end of the first spell the Maoris had 16 points against 10. The second spell was very even play. Haera, Asher, Riwanui Tao, and Rati ;i obtained tries, of which Asher converted two. The final scores were Maoris 19, Queensland 16.
