Waitoa Live Stock Sale
There was a very good attendance at the above sale yesterday. Competition was keen, and there was a good demand for all classes. Fat bullocks fetched from £6 10s to £8 2k 6d; fat heifers, from .to 10s to £6: aged cows £4 to £4 10s. One pen of good fat cows brought £0 Is. Forward three-year-old steers £o Bs, two and a-half to three-year-olds made from £4 to £4 10s; eighteen-month steers £2 16s ; couple of pens of ca lvcß fetched from £1 10s to £1 lbs. There was a very fair muster of sheep : rat weathers 18s Od; fat ewes 14s ud, store hoggets lls. A line of ewes m lamb passed in at 12s. Pigs: Sow and litter (5), £5 7s Od ; weaners 7s.
