Presbyterian Church Concert

THE above concert took place in the Public Hall on Wednesday evening last, and was well attended, the Hall being -well filled. The programme submitted was a first-class one, and each contribution was creditably rendered and well received. The accompaniments were played by Mrs Blair. Blair (encore, “My Gentle Child”); song, “Far AAvay,” Miss Patterson ; recitation, “ The Gee-bung Polo Club,” Mr Seccombe. Interval. Overture, “Ingomar,” Orchestra; song, “Serenade,” Mrs Hunt (encore, “The Link Divine ”); quartette, “Sweet and Loav,” Mesdames Axford and Blair and Messrs Raynor and Blair (encored); cornet solo, “ Once Again,” Mr T. Dono..an (one of the best items; song, “ Joy,” Mrs Wigg; song, “ Queen of the Earth,” Mr Raynor (encore, “Banks of Allan Water ”); recitation, “ The Scttin’ o’ the Hen,” Rev W. Blair (encore “Puttin’ in the Erie.”)
