KENNEDY—SCOTT

A very pretty wedding took place at Waitoa, on Wednesday, 10th inst., when Miss Emily Amelia Agustus

Scott, of Waitoa (late of Hikutia), was married to Mr William Harry Kennedy, son of Mr David Kennedy, of Waikino. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. E M. CowieThe bride was given away by her brother, aud ivas attended by her sister, Miss Lottie Scott, as brides-

maid. The bridegroom was supported by his brother, Mr John Scott and Mr Hill, the latter acting as best man. The bride was attired in a pretty white mervelleux silk dress, trimmed with chiffon and insertion and wore the orthodox veil

and orange blossoms. She carried a beautiful shower bouquet. The bridesmaid’s dress was of white Japanese silk, prettily trimmed. After the ceremony about 40 guests sat down to breakfast which was arranged in a marquee. Mr and Mrs Kennedy subsequently left for their future home in Waikino. The presents were both numerous and handsome.
