Wedding.

MACKIE—ANDREWS

A quiet but pretty wedding was solemnised at the Thames, on May 27, when Miss Rose Andrews, second daughter of Mr J. H. Andrews of the Thames, was united to MrF. Mackie, eldest son of Mr W. Mackie, of Te Aroha. The Rev. Milne performed the ceremony. The bride was attired in a smart navy blue costume, with pretty blue hat to match, and was attended by her sister, Miss Ethel Andrews, as bridesmaid, who wore a pretty brown dress. The bridegroom’s gift to the bridesmaid was a gold ruby band ring. The bridegroom was supported by his brother, Mr Ernest Mackie. An after reception was given by Mr and Mrs Andrews, when a number of guests sat down to a sumptuous breakfast. 'Hie happy couple left by train for their future home in Te Aroha. They were the recipients of many beautiful presents, showing the popularity of both bride and bridegroom.
